Arkansas State Red Wolves eye a breakthrough Sun Belt baseball season as Coach Mike Silva enters year two, building off last year's turnaround. After a rocky 3-9 start, Silva’s strategic lineup and position changes—like moving Will French from middle infield to first base—ignited a surge in confidence and on-field performance. Can the Red Wolves’ blend of returning talent, JUCO additions, and transfer pitchers fuel a push into the league’s upper echelon?

Dave Schultz spotlights how Arkansas State is tackling the challenges of the transfer portal and NIL while emphasizing enhanced team athleticism, offensive firepower, and pitching depth.

The conversation dives into leadership shifts, the importance of “crooked numbers,” and the mindset needed to outpace Sun Belt contenders such as Coastal Carolina, Southern Miss, and Troy.

With the Red Wolves’ culture of unselfishness and resilience taking root, are fans about to witness a new era in Jonesboro?
