And we are getting odds on that competition over on FanDuel Sportsbook this morning with Shuck as the favorite at -186…I’m not so sure we don’t see more names enter the chat. The cap space they get from Carr’s retirement does open the door for a potential veteran…and I wonder – does New Orleans become a realistic landing spot for Aaron Rodgers now? He and Cam Jordan have that Cal connection…I’m just sayinggg…

Or…would the Falcons be willing to deal Kirk Cousins to a division rival? I wouldn’t put it past them. There are options out there…and I don’t think Kellen Moore saying what he said necessarily means anything. He gains nothing from revealing any plans there…and I’d have to think that the Saints will leave no stone unturned as they try to figure this out. Sure, Tyler Shuck could be amazing…but if I’m Mickey Loomis I’m looking into everything.

And that’s because I’m thinking about Cam Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu, Demario Davis, Alvin Kamara…these guys stuck around because they want to bring a Super Bowl to New Orleans…and I think you owe it to them to make sure you have the best possible option under center for 2025, whoever that might be.
And by the way…following the Carr news…the Saints have dropped down to +900 to win the NFC South over on FanDuel Sportsbook…a distant last place in that division behind the Panthers, who at +410. They also now have the 3rd longest odds to make the playoffs at +540…behind only the Giants and Browns. Listen…if you do believe in Tyler Shuck…or think the Saints land a Rodgers or Cousins…you’re never going to get better odds than this.
