The South Carolina Gamecocks Football schedule features five opponents, including three from the Southeastern Conference. The Gamecocks defeated all three- Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Missouri- in 2024. There also is the neutral site opener against Virginia Tech in Atlanta (though technically that game is in August on Sunday the 31st) and the home opener against South Carolina State. Some have speculated that the Gamecocks should be 5-0 heading into October. JC Shurburtt on Coffee Episode 83 points out not to be so sure about that.
