Chicago Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson is wasting no time putting his stamp on the team as the Bears head into Organized Team Activities (OTAs). From personnel upgrades to shifting the culture inside Halas Hall, Johnson is setting a new tone in Chicago.

“I see a chance for greatness here for him. He’s been communicative that way. He feels the same way. I don’t know about what’s gone on before I joined the organization, but he’s very proud to be a Chicago Bear.”

“That’s what our conversations have included. He’s really excited to get to work right now and be the best version of himself for 2025. There’s no question we’ll face adversity. We want to see growth over the course of the season. It’s not going to be linear growth.”

When asked about the Bears’ early BYE week in the 2025 schedule, Johnson responded with confidence:

“I actually like where that bye week is, because it usually takes about four weeks into the season to find out who you are as a team, what you do well, what you don’t do well, and that’s a good time so we can reflect on that as a coaching staff so we can hone in on what we want to be for the remaining three-quarters of the season.”
