The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is COMPLETE!! It was a wild night, but the New York Giants are the big winners after securing Abdul Carter and trading back up for quarterback Jaxson Dart. However, it isn't just what the Giants got right that makes them winners, but what another team got wrong. The Cleveland Browns are being praised for their activity, but missing out on Travis Hunter with the hope of getting a quarterback in 2026 is a losing game. The Atlanta Falcons also made a massive mistake, trading a first round pick in 2026 in a desperation move, to move up for edge James Pearce. This is a massive risk for a team that mightily overpaid. Finally, wide receivers Emeka Egbuka with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Matthew Golden with the Green Bay Packers are perfect fits. Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe and Tyler Shough still remain on the board, who will trade up for them?
