Johnson did not run a 40-yard dash but participated in drills, vertical, and a shuttle. Will Johnson remains a top Miami Dolphins NFL Draft target with the 13th pick.
- Dolphins top-30 visits continue to be revealed 10 days before the NFL Draft. Miami is allowed to bring in 30 NFL Draft prospects to Dolphins headquarters in order to learn more about each player.
- UCF CB BJ Adams visited the Dolphins front office for a top-30 visit. Adams is a 6’2” corner who ran a 4.54 40-yard dash, and is expected to be selected on day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft.
- Miami RB Damien Martinez met with Chris Grier and the Dolphins front office on a top-30 visit. Martinez played for the Hurricanes in 2024 after being at Oregon State. Damien Martinez could go anywhere between the 3rd round and 5th round of the NFL Draft.
- Ollie Gordon, Oklahoma State RB, was in Miami with a top-30 visit. Gordon had a NFL Combine meeting with the Miami Dolphins, and is going to be drafted on day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

“In conversations with personnel folks over the weekend, I’m told that RD1 CB prospect Will Johnson (Michigan) will “do everything but run a 40” in this morning’s workout for NFL evaluators. Considered a top-20 pick by zone-heavy defensive teams. A sniper with his eyes forward and playing the ball in front of him. But limited when back is turned to the QB (lacks recovery speed and struggles to track the ball down field). He’s reportedly been running in the high-4.5’s in training, which explains not running a 40. Damn good football player in the right scheme!”
