Cowboys rumors could soon focus on Dameon Pierce. The Texans are signing Nick Chubb, which means Pierce might be done in Houston. I’d put some good money that the Texans move on from Pierce before Week 1. Pierce’s play has really fallen off, so I’m only interested in a little flier move, which does cause complications since the Texans might not cut him until roster cuts.

NFL News: Rashod Bateman agreed to a 3-year, $36 MM deal with $20 MM GTD with the Ravens. I don’t think this has any impact at all on George Pickens’ eventual contract. However, this deal could show the ceiling (cap-adjusted) for Jalen Tolbert’s deal. Tolbert could easily command $10 million per year. Pickens, meanwhile, will be at least double (if not triple) that figure.
