Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox on why the Commanders should make a push to trade for Jalen Ramsey this offseason:
“The Commanders added cornerback help in free agency (Jonathan Jones) and relatively early in the draft (second-round pick Trey Amos). They also added Marshon Lattimore at last year's trade deadline and only got to see him in five games (including playoffs) because of injury. Washington could afford to add a seasoned vet like Ramsey. If the Commanders hope to exceed expectations in 2025, they could use all the help they can get. And after recording a mere seven interceptions a year ago, Ramsey (24 career picks) would be a terrific defender to target.”

“College football fans know Sainristill well since he was the MVP of the Big Ten Championship and had the game-clinching interception in the National Championship during Michigan’s 2023-2024 postseason run. In his lone NFL season, the former Wolverine proved to be a valuable addition to the Commanders’ secondary, lining up at nickel and outside cornerback. He also recorded 14 passes defended with two interceptions during the regular season, and added two more picks and four PDs during the playoffs.”
