Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams was at Fanatics Fest in New York on Friday and spoke on a panel led by Kay Adams of ‘Up & Adams’. Williams was asked about his new head coach Ben Johnson and said “he’s tough and I love him” when describing their relationship over the past few months. Williams also said that Packers fans “suck” and reminded everyone that he’s 1-0 and Lambeau Field. Lastly, he sent a message to Bears fans by saying “our goal is to be here awhile” when talking about himself and Johnson, which would be a change after numerous other quarterbacks and head coaches have failed in Chicago. Caleb Williams On Ben Johnson:
“Ben Johnson’s great. He uses some choice words every day towards me. He’s tough, and I love him. He’s awesome. It’s been great being around him. We hang out in his office, and we have lunch sometimes, things like that. It’s not just Ben Johnson. We have a young staff, old staff — we have a bunch of experience, a bunch of new energy provided from the coaches and the players. I think it’s been awesome.”

Caleb Williams’ message to Bears fans:
“I know Bears fans — it’s year after year, typically, where coaches and quarterbacks are typically in and out. Our goal is to be here for a while.”

Caleb Williams on his worst fan experience:
“One of mine was probably at Green Bay, I mean, they suck, but it was after the game, after we won at Lambeau. 1-0 at Lambeau right now. We obviously try to do the 'Lambeau leap' and we actually try to jump in the crowd where our fans were and they just, they start throwing everything at you.”
