A bombshell Caleb Williams report just dropped as ESPN’s Seth Wickersham is releasing a new book about quarterbacks and it details Williams major reservations about the Chicago Bears during his pre-draft process in 2024. Williams dad, Carl, pursued several different avenues to avoid Williams going to Chicago, but Bears’ GM Ryan Poles told Williams directly “we’re drafting you no matter what.” After Williams Top 30 NFL Draft visit with the Bears at Halas Hall, he told his dad, “I can do it for this team. I'm going to go to the Bears.” Wickersham detailed Williams’ reservations of being coached by Matt Eberflus and Shane Waldron and reported that Williams watched film on his own because Waldron wouldn’t do it with him. It was also detailed that Williams is fired up to be coached hard by Ben Johnson and is excited about being on the Bears moving forward.
