Catcher Dalton Rushing got called up and made his first appearance for the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 15, 2025. He had a great game, going 2-4 with a walk and three runs scored. This performance may not be much of a surprise to Louisville Cardinals fans who got to see Rushing play for them. After playing behind Henry Davis for two seasons, Rushing had a breakout 2022 season where he hit 23 home runs, with 62 RBI, and 64 runs scored with a .310 batting average and a .686 slugging percentage.
