The top-seeded Georgia Tech announced its presence at the ACC Tournament with authority, as they hit three home runs in the first inning of their first game at the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship. Drew Burress led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run that hit off the roof of Tobacco Road in left field. Then, with a runner on base, Kyle Lodise hit a home run that just crept over the wall in centerfield. And with two outs in the inning, Caleb Daniel hit a blast well over the wall in right field to give Georgia Tech a 4-0 lead.
