Duke's Chris Douglas and Miami's Duke Johnson were two of the most dynamic backs this league has ever seen. Each was dangerous toting the rock, in the receiving game and on special teams. His 3,122 rushing yards are a Duke record that still stands today. Johnson brought the juice to 'Canes as evidenced by his 5,526 all-purpose yards and 33 all-purpose scores. Johnson's 106.6 rushing yards per game rest at sixth all-time in the ACC and his 6.7 yards per carry place 10th all-time in the conference.
