Outfielder Sam Frelick made his major league debut with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2023. In 2024, he was a Gold Glove Award winner, leading all NL outfielders with 15 defensive runs saved. His incredible defensive performance is not a surprise, as he was the 2021 ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a Third Team All-American. He had an incredible three-year career with the Eagles where he finished sixth in school history in on-base percentage (.435), seventh in batting average (.345), and ninth in career steals (38).
